• 10MM ALUMINUM-MAGNESIUM DRIVER – The Chu 3 uses a 10mm dynamic driver with an aluminum-magnesium composite diaphragm. Its light, rigid design helps the driver respond quickly while keeping distortion low. In everyday listening, the bass is often described as full and punchy without making the sound overly sharp.
• WARM, EASY-GOING TUNING – Moondrop tunes the Chu 3 toward its PopAvg-DF (JM-1) response target. The sound is commonly heard as warmer and more mid-bass focused, with a smoother top end than brighter IEMs. This makes it an easy match for pop, hip-hop, electronic music, and relaxed daily listening.
• SMALL ZINC-ALLOY SHELL – The compact shell is made from zinc alloy and follows the small, rounded shape of the Chu series. Its size helps it sit neatly in the ear without the bulk of many larger IEMs. Many listeners find the small shell comfortable for longer sessions when paired with the right eartips.
• PRECISION BRASS NOZZLE – A CNC-machined brass acoustic nozzle forms part of the Chu 3’s sound path. Its dense, precisely machined structure is designed to reduce acoustic variation and control treble standing waves. This helps support more consistent high-frequency performance from the compact housing.
• DETACHABLE 2-PIN CABLE – The Chu 3 uses a standard 0.78mm 2-pin detachable cable and a 3.5mm single-ended plug. You can replace the cable if it wears out or swap to another compatible cable later. This gives the earphones more flexibility for long-term daily use.
